Movie Monday was postponed because of...

a potentially broken toe. No, not mine... my mom's. Which meant I had to watch Elijah all day and therefore couldn't get on the computer for most of the day. But it's only a day late (and a dollar short) and I actually have two.

First Elijah walking through a Metro car:

This one is not Elijah, but it's from the zoo. A tiger playing with a ball:

I will have an actual update soon. Maybe if I have the time tomorrow.

BTW, remember National Scrapbooking Day is Saturday, so make sure you hit up a sale or seven. One of my favorite digital scrapbooking shops, Nitwit Collections, that hardly ever puts anything on sale is having a 30.5% off sale this weekend. I will try to restrain myself... but unfortunely (for my pocketbook) I will be online all day on Saturday because I'm hosting a game at Digital Freebies and will be "forced" to look around a little to waste time in between checking my PMs and watching bingo. Man, my second job is such hard work... ;-)

I'm out.

DYL #4

I almost couldn't decide what to declare my love for this week. I had so many thing... nice weather, the weekend, egg salad, freedom of speech. I decided none of those would do today, so I picked

Card Making/Scrapbook Supplies

I'm on a card making kick this month. I have researched and watched videos and bought stuff... and plan to buy more stuff this weekend. O:-) I love it.

What do you love this week?

Movie Monday

It's movie Monday again... I almost forgot. Here is Elijah playing on his microphone. He's practicing to be on American Idol in... what... 16 years? BTW, yes, he has the most mismatched clothes on, your eyes are not deceiving you. When we are at home nothing ever matches... it's something special we do when we go out places.

Another BTW, the reason we burst out laughing at the end is that the whole time he was doing that Azalea was freaking out and trying to get over to him to see if he was ok. Like 2 seconds before the video ends you can hear her whine (which she never does normally), so we just had to laugh.

That is all for right now. I'm out.

Declare Your Love #3

Today I'm going to declare my love for a game on facebook it's called:

Robin Hood

I am addicted to this game. It's a strategy game with a twist... You have to get your friends to join to build your band of merry "men". The more people in your band the more stuff you can do in the game. So that is my DYL for this week. It's your turn to declare your love.

Layout

Just thought I would share a layout I did this week.

This would have been for OLW "Ready" if it would have been done in time.

Movie Monday - The Easter Edition

Easter was wonderful, not only because it's my favorite holiday, but because this year Elijah could participate a lot more. On Friday night we dyed Easter Eggs:

Sunday we went to church in the morning, then when we got home we took an Easter picture

After Elijah took his nap he got his Easter basket from mommy and daddy:

He got two new trucks/cars, a new sippy(that he picked out himself at the store), baby goldfish and fudge striped cookies.

Later in the day we did an Easter Egg Hunt (well, 15-month old style):

Which leads me into Movie Monday! It's a two-parter. Enjoy!

BTW, Youtube apparently hates me today, so if you want to see a clearer version, go to my facebook and take a look.

So until tomorrow... I'm out.

Declare Your Love #2

I knew I was going to forget to do this yesterday. I do have an excuse though, Elijah had his check-up at the doctors at 1pm, so by the time we got home and settled it was time for dinner then off to do errands etc etc.

BTW, the doctor visit went really well. He's 27lbs 1oz (which is just under 90th percentile) and 32 inches tall (which is 75th percentile). Except for the shot part, he was a little angel. :-) She said he looks like he's doing really well, so yay.
But anyway, it's time for declare your love. If you want to know the rules go here. Since I took time off two days this past week I'm going to declare my love for:

Paid Time Off (PTO)

I love PTO. Just knowing that I can sleep in, do what I want, spend time with Elijah, go shopping... basically act like it's a weekend and get paid for it is an awesome feeling.

Now it's your turn. I loved the ones from last week, so I can't wait to see what everyone decides to declare this week! :-)

Movie Monday - A Teaser

Today's video was not suppose to be today's video. I forgot my camera at home today, so the real video will be posted tomorrow. But for today, I thought you would enjoy a little bit of Elijah riding in the car. Enjoy.

Declare Your Love

I think I'm gonna do this new thing every Friday, it's called "Declare Your Love". I'm stealing this from one of the radio stations I listen to (Mix 106.5). The object of it is to declare how much you love a certain thing. The only stipulation is that you can't declare your love for another person (son, wife, mother, friend etc.) because that is a given. The things you declare your love for should be things like specific food items, certain cars, pieces of scrapbooking equipment etc.

I think I will start out with a food item:

I love Tomato and Mozzarella Salad

I'm on this kick where I could so eat this every night. It's so yummy and on muggy Summer evenings it's very refreshing. I will admit it's not very filling, but if you have a small sammich or some kind of meat with it, it's dinner. :-)

Now it's your turn.

Ok and now a short little story. We went to the park on Sunday afternoon and we decided we were going to take Elijah's Winnie the Pooh riding toy, he got for his birthday, to push him around in. Apparently this toy is like a toddler version of a Jaguar...

Because toddlers from all over the playground came over to stare at it and push the buttons. It was crazy. While Elijah was on the swing and we had parked the toy next to the swing set, this little boy was drawn to it and played with it for a good 5 minutes. The whole time Elijah was just wondering "Why are you touching my toy?" He was good, though, and shared it like a big boy. I feel like I should start a scrapbook about the park because it seems like every time we go there we have a story to share.

I'm out.
